Okay, so it wasn't in basketball, football, baseball, cross-country, gymnastics, soccer, or table tennis, but did we ever kick booooootey this year in RUGBY. Now we all know that is a real man's sport anyway. Mostly only sissies play futbol americano.
So, as you carry the beautiful colors of blue and white during these next few days, hold your head high. We are collectively NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!! Man doesn't if feel great. Can you smell the air at the top.....wow, we.... are.... awesome. I guess BYU truly has arrived.
So there, Kyle Whittingham. neeener neeener neeener. Shoot, all he did is go to a stupid BCS game, wax the competition, and come back with 7 million dollars. I'm sure the Rugby national championship brought in something....like that.
Anyway, meant to post this a few weeks ago when it happened, but....better late than never.

If you ask me...it looks like they all just got out of Jail.
So, how did that happen? IKsn't that the sport where everyone gets in a pile with their heads stuck ...... and then they all take a whiff and all of a sudden a ball pops out of somewhere? I think their only equipment is a shirt and mouth piece? So, who did they play? BUY got 7 million for that game? Wow!
Can you believe I, Jana, myself, actually saw part of the semi-final game one afternoon while waiting for a movie to rewind or something for Eli. I flipped to BYU-TV to kill the time and saw "rugby". Curiosity got ahold of me, as I didn't know BYU did this and I was quite intrigued with how the game is played. I could not believe I was sitting there watching a sport, mid-afternoon. Jay even walked by wondering what the heck I was doing on the couch watching rugby!!! Now I'm glad because I won't look so dumb in conversation if the topic ever comes up!!!!! And, they are champs!
