Jayson's Birthday Cake

Hi everyone! I'm trying to figure this out and hopefully it will work. Here are two photos (if my posting is correct) of Jayson's birthday cake I made today. It seems weird to have a "princess" cake for a boy, but he will like it since he's in his high school musical, "Once Upon a Mattress" (aka "The Princess and the Pea"). It doesn't look wonderful but it was really fun to make. I saw the idea in a magazine and thought,"hey, I can do this!" So I gave it a shot and here you go.......a little lopsided, but hey it was my first attempt!

Hey Jason, Happy Birthday and we hope you and your friends have a good time at the prom. So how far down the cake is the pea? And, how do you cut the thing? That is an awesome cake Jana. Remember your own birthdays as kids? Always had a different cake. I remember Grandma Hansen making a pretty doll cake when Mom and I were first married. She will remember more than I do, but it was an amazing cake. The pretzels are perfect for the head and foot boards.

Yeah Mom! Good job! And it will definitely be a unique cake for Jayson :-) Love you all! (P.S. if you send me a piece I won't complain!)

Just remember Jayson if your mom cuts you a piece that you have to eat every morsel of cake and 'pea' on your plate.
Good Jorb Jana !!
