LIFE IN SÃO PAULO- So Good!

First--- THE SPIRITUAL SIDE OF THE MISSION. We love going to the temple with the missionaries, and I took this photo just at sunset, with the storm clouds overhead. I thought it looked beautiful.
Then, I thought we´d show you our office building which is behind the temple. There are actually two of these buildings, but you can´t get them in a photo together. Here is Dad, and also the hallway we traverse daily. We love the people here and the work. (Notice the carpet? The same as every lds bldg here and there.)

This is our apartment complex from the temple grounds. Among many other highrise bldgs, this is the best view of ours. And you can´t see the graffiti too much.

All things are spiritual with Him ---As we go shopping we take pictures of interesting things. One is self explanetory and the other is not. And we can´t pronounce it! But the other is so heavy and the only thing they eat out of it is some little tiny white part in the middle. And by the way, The avocados taste the same as what we get, just bigger. You waste most of it cause it´s so much to eat.

Next is how they paint the stores. This one is next to the Wal-mart that is going to open sometime. And across the street from our office is the green Butanta shopping being spruced up also. Do you want this job? They probably get 5 Reis an hour for it. We stand in total awe of how things are done.

And last, our night out with Sonia and Augusto, at the Churrasqueria. Meat slabs of leg of lamb, pork, chicken hearts,(really) beef shanks, and a fun evening. Of course one picture shows what it was like after dinner. In this place, we put our purses on a chair next to us, and they came and covered them with a white ironed tablecloth. Man, talk about service! And they never ever stopped offering us meat and little other foods to eat. Never! But the best was that the company was great.

Have they discovered "guacamole" yet?

So is the avocado size deceiving? I mean, is the pit large too, like the size of a grapefruit?

Love the photos, dad and mom! --scott
