Look, it's a male plane!

Now I wish we had every ward talent show any of us attended or participated in over the years just for a good laugh.  Can't remember the last time I went to one, let alone took part.   Our ward sent around sign up sheets a couple of weeks ago.  When they took it into the young womens class, Allyson got a hold of it and signed everyone up including some of the leaders with things like Sister Yardley --Yodeling,  Sister Bishop--haircut of someone in the audience, Lauren - texting,  Shari - Tap dance,  Brakel - diaper change of one of the babies in the audience while blindfolded, Kensie - airplane safety features, etc.   Then she handed it back to the activity person in charge.   Looks like we've taught them correctly.  Anytime you get a sign up sheet coming around you have to have some fun with it.  When we lived at Wymount Terrace and the roll would come around during Sunday School we would usually write "moved" or "transferred to U of U" on the line of a person that hadn't received the roll yet and then watch their reaction when it got to them.   One of the ladies in our ward who is on the activity committee was at our home about a month ago and somehow it came up that she had made some '3 amigos' costumes and her husband had done the routine for a company retreat and she wanted to see it done at the ward talent show.  I happened to be in the room and told her Miles and I would be down for learning the dance, so there you go!   Erin recorded it and is the one ya hear laughing in the background.  She just got back from Mexico earlier in the day.  We'll see if we can post some of her pictures.  She went with about 45 other SUU students and built one of the habitat for humanity homes in the city of Guaymas and said she never worked harder in her life and had the best time interacting with the locals and just serving for a whole week.

It´s so hilarious I don~t even know what to say, other than "look up here----look up here----" Ya done good on that dance. Does everyone in the audience know that movie? Seemed a bit quiet, maybe I just couldn´t hear them. Anyway, one of these days, post that other movie of you and Scott being the sons of Saddam.

AND - we don´t and haven´t had internet or phone service for almost a week. please everyone email us here at the LDS address. It may be a while.

Man, that was so hilarious. I knew I should have gone to the bathroom before I got onto the blog. David - Man--we arent used to blogs that are so long-but sheesh they are so fun to read. You should have seen David, Amber, alissa and I here watching that video. Were you really singing that or was it a recording. Awesome!!! Never seen the 3 amigos.

What? never seen the 3 amigos? Stop what you're doing right now and go rent that thing! Man that was one funny skit, love the boot taps with eachother, and the texting that ally put down for a talent. It's so true...karina is doing it all the time. Anyway, this blogs getting too rough for me...

I agree with Jared. Ya aint truly lived or laughed until you've seen Los Tres Amigos. It's a classic with a "plethora" of funny stuff and great lines. We were singing the song but also had a cd recording playing behind the piano but you know how recordings in a church usually go and you can't hear us that great. I think the average age attending was about 65 for some reason. We were the last performance of the night and I think most people were trying to plan their strategy for hitting the refreshment table.

Hey, watch it with that age thing. Sixty five is a wonderful age, ( I wish we were there) In fact I think we laugh more now than ever in our lives. Was it like 11:00 at night or something?

I couldn´t believe the hip movement, so well coordinated. Amazing! Ally, you are the best. Your husband will be on the floor most of the time because you my dear have been trained by the BEST. I showed it to some of the brazilians and they had never seen the movie. I am going to the local black market and see if they have one in English and any other language. It will be great.

Barbara,

How is it that we grew up in the same house and you never saw that movie? Are there any other basics that are missing from your file? I'm seriously worried here!

Don't worry too much though, seems like I missed out on a few well-known family details which I shoulda known, too. But we'll leave those facts alone, won't we...

Jared, I thought that was the funniest comment in a long time, bro - I was ROTFLOL at work today when I read that comment! The guys in the cubicle next to me were wondering what I was snickering about. And you too Karina, with the Whheee yaaaahhh reference - man i love the comments!

The boot tap portion of the video is what did it for me, David and Miles. You guys make me laugh!

Yeah i sure wish that we had our spit in the eye game on film that time. With the 3 amigos lines and name anyone from coolidge ward categories i'd say that was the funniest game we've ever played.

Funny how I am always last. Ok, I'll admit that I must have been gone, too, when you guys discovered that movie. Afterall, Karina was only 18mths. old when I was married and Jared was only 5. Guess we'll go rent it so we 'fit' in. Barbara, wanna come over and watch it with me?
