This is a picture we took out at the Air Force Base. Every couple weeks or so the pilots that do all the stunts in the air shows will take out the F-16's and test them out. When they find one they like, or one that performs well enough they paint it.....and thats what you see at the show. Well the hangar we're building is within a football field of the flight line so they do all their stunts right over our job trailer. You can't even talk to a person standing right next to you or leave your ears unplugged it's so loud. But man it is so cool to watch them turn as sharp as they can and as fast as they can, then go straight up and out of sight spinning the whole way. Then they point their nose at a 60 degree angle or so and fly as slow as possible right down the air strip. I wish they'd do it with the F-22 but thats still a pretty secret bird and they don't bring them out very often. You should all come and see, I think they're having the real air show this summer since they skipped out on it last year.

Fun!!! We're there, next time we're there : )
That must be so awesome standing there witnessing that. Just think what it must be like to be INSIDE the plane!! What a ride! (hopefully very few of those people get motion sickness)
Man, that is way cool!! Sheesh, you have all the fun up their in Ogdun. I can't believe you get paid for your doing your job. Always out golfing or skiing or watching F-16's with your bosses. Some Job!
There is nothing I would like more than to go to those air shows. Someday!!!! But we love what we are doing now!!! - you know, it´s a REAL air show here - humid air, hot air, wet air, blowing air, smoggy air, noisy air, and we love it.
Hey, that is nothing. Last week, when we were in Santa Maria, we passed the Brazilian National Air Force Command Post. Pretty dang impressive. Anyway, they had a couple of jets flying in formation, screaming stuff. They were a couple of Shooting Stars or maybe a Sabre jet or two. Have any of you ever seen them? I think their top speed in descent is maybe 297 mph! Awesome!!!!!!!!!
That air show in Ogdun is way fun and very impressive. hope you get to go this year. be sure to see the rocket powered truck they usually bring...
