Hi Everyone, yes, you'd think it was Christmas already here. We had a wonderful time Friday evening with Marcos Caesar da Silva and his family. He invited us, and drove us somewhere in Sao Paulo to his ward activity - it was pouring rain - buckets, (took 1 1/2 hours) and there were the two missionary couples, Brooks and the Calls, and He. He had to go home first and tell his family that he had us, and then took us to a wonderful shopping center that was comparable to any beautiful center in the States. I want to go back there. And decked out for Christmas like Chandler or the Orem mall - anyway, we ended up at the church. Waited for him to go back and get his family (3 children).
The program never started until 10:00 because for anyone to get there, they have to ride busses, drive in the traffic, etc. So, here everything starts late. It was an incredible "Cats" couple of dances by about 14 teens. His daughter was one of them. And they were really good. We were impressed. But it was short, and after we all got in the car (9 of us in a 5 passenger car - rain, remember) and went back to their tiny tiny home. Really everyone, our homes are mansions compared. They fed us a wonderful pudding type of dessert, and then he drove us home, we arrived at midnight, and he went back by himself. What a sweet wonderful guy. We are truly loving these people. They are the best ever. No one is afraid to talk to missionaries, and they jabber away and think I know what they said. It's easy to just hug, and nod, and say, OK Some photos:
1st - the shopping center and Marcos
2nd - the "Cats" dance
3rd - the counselor in the bishopric - 30 years old, with 1 child
4th - Marco's daughter - one of the cats
5th - his familia (parents too) They have all been members for about 17 years.

You guys look so cute! It's still so crazy to see you on a mission, talking just like a missionary about your experiences.
So did the pudding taste lemony?
Unbelievable how late everything starts there. I'd be asleep before it even got started.
And you're not kidding they go all out to decorate. Looks fabulous- they even have deer! Have they ever even seen a live one? You guys were probably like "oh, we saw deer all the time in Pine Valley, the little nuisances!".
Fun pictures mom! I loved getting to know the members. FUn that you got to go see cats! Yes, those deer here are little nuisances! I have almost hit them at least ten times in my frenzy to get the kids to the school bus on time!
Mom! You and Dad look so good! I love looking at your pictures! So, keep posting them.
