One Year Anniversary!!!

So, for our one year anniversary, alex bought me (well us) a camera!! Woo hoo! It is a canon 7.1 mega pixel power shot digital elph ! And we love it. So we decided to take a trip to San Francisco , and visit his brother Nate who lives there! The Famous Golden Gate Bridge. We didn't drive across it because you have to pay an expensive tole, this is as close as we could get! But very interesting facts about how it was made and the length and width of the cables etc... It's a must visit!
This is at a place called Pier 39, lots of shops, huge aquarium, and other fun sight seeing to do. Alcatraz is right behind us- we wanted to go so bad, but didn't get a chance too.

Can you tell them apart? Cute brothers!

We ate at this place called Bubba Gump's. It's forrest gump theme! They even have a bench outside the restaurant with his brief case and a box of chocolates! But this sign is for the waiter- and the other one is Stop forrest Stop and they will stop and see what you want! Pretty fun actually!
This is called Lombard Street. People live on both sides, but you can only drive down it and it is very steep, and you drive on Podalillypeepeedos (or however you say it/spell it). We drove down it, and it was pretty cool- you can go as fast as you want Mom and nobody cares! j/k
We went to one of the best aquarium's in Monterey- just outside San Francisco.
They had some of the neatest jelly fish- but posted my favorite one!
Don't ask... I don't know what this creature is? Funky lookin fish I'll say! Alex said he had a dream about it the next night that it was about to attack him!! ha ha ha
Massive school of fish! it was unbelievable! This is Nate and his girlfriend Laura.
Shark's mouth- those teeth are so sharp and going every which way...
Alex even got to pet a leopard shark! They feel like sand paper, not soft at all!
We went to a Ghirardelli factory! This is a huge tank of chocolate that is being mixed by this machine! Then you watch other machines do their work with the chocolate. And we had the WORLD'S BEST SUNDAY'S EVER!! So delicious!!!

We even tested our camera on the flowers! we have some funny videos I'll post another time!

However, that word you can't spell ----Well, Dad doesn't know how to spell it either, but he thinks it is paralelipipidos. Who knows, we have to ask someone here.

Great pics, Karina. You guys look amazing, why, after my first year of marriage I looked like I belonged in coolidge...

I remember when we went to San Fran to pick up Barbara off her mission.(And ReNae wouldn't wear her matching shorts with us, because the print wasn't '80's enough for her tastes.)

Alcatraz was fun in a spooky way & the Pier had some cool shops.

Great photos, you guys! I love San Fransisco! It's like 1 1/2 away from Sacramento so we used to go all the time. Fun Stuff!

SAN FRANCISO----That's where I only left "half my heart!" It was a fun place to visit after my mission but I sure was glad to go home. Do you remember visiting that place at all Karina? We even went across the Golden Gate. And it was awesome. Cant you walk across? Did you find the seals? And then try to act like one? They make a hilarious sound. We loved your pics. Happy Anniversary!
