So last month we went to see Alex's dad in California which by the way, was way fun! But he also had 4 free tickets to the san deigo zoo, which we so gladly accepted! So the four of us went and it was the best zoo I have ever been too! We saw some really neat animals. Anyway I will try my best at this blog thing and hope it works out, enjoy the pictures! There is one lady with a wolf. She is the only one that the wolf will let tough it. She had it howl too, which was a scary sound, but way cute wolf. Also they train this cheeta that you will see, with a golden retriever. They said, this cheeta does not do normal "cheeta things" but does dog things. Some how the cheeta knows the dog is older than it, so it does what ever the older animal will do. They do long jumps into the water where they throw a ball and see how far it can jump into the water (that was pretty neet), and also they sleep together and play together. Cool show to see. There is another animal that is on it's back, and that was a bear just sun tanning!
This one was one of our favorites! The Komodo Dragon. Probably a good 12 feet long and pretty
neat to watch.

Trip to San Deigo Zoo!

well, it didn't turn out as I'd like it but, I know that the mountain lions are not "komoto dragons", that picture is the last one. Pretty tricky on this blog here!
Awesome pictures. Didn't see the Lab. Was it in the mouth of the hyienna? I really liked the big snake and the cute little lizurd at the beginning. You guys get to do the fun things. So, what was the dragon eating or is that his forked tongue?

Fun trip, Bittings. Kathy and I went there too during our first year of marriage - San Diego Zoo has got to be one of the best Zoos ever (except for those annoying peacocks that yell at you as you approach the entrance). If you get a chance to see Sea World in San Diego, that is pretty cool too.
Man, we all need to do a Christmas or Summer vacation in San Diego and spend some time at the beach. Road Trip!
Man, we agree on the road trip. Lincoln has now made two trips to the Hoggle Zoo in Salt Lake and the coolest thing to see is the baby giraffe (which was in his picture at the zoo). We need to go to the San Diego zoo, what cool pictures!

I had to laugh at the last picture there, cause last week after FHE we played a stupid game "which animal am I". Our kids can never just pick monkey or rabbitt. Eric was a Komoto dragon. He had his tongue all out there and his eyes were shiftin... pretty impressive. You should all request that at our reunion. (BTW Caleb was a Dynonicus, totally obvious)
