Lincoln (For Real This Time)

Sorry about the previous post with nothing in it. Rick tried to post a powerpoint of the crib he built for Lincoln, but couldn't find a way to get it posted. I guess you have to make a webpage in order to see the powerpoint, so we will probably just email it out. But anyway, Rick just gave up so he left it blank.

We had Lincoln's baby blessing this past weekend too. (Bummer that Jill and Lincoln's blessing's were on the same day, but I guess that's what happens when they are born so close together). It was such a fun day. We kept Lincoln up all morning, so he was zonked by the time we got to church, so he didn't make a peep during the blessing. You can see some pics if you scroll down. But be prepared, this is a different baby than you have seen in the past. We took him to his 2 month appointment last week and he had exactly doubled in size. From 6 lbs. 3 oz. to 12 lbs. 6 oz. The funniest part is that he was in the 75% for weight and the 15% for height! :) Yes, he is built like the Larsen babies! :) Here's our chubby boy...

Okay, the next picture didn't turn out so well, but it is the best picture we've been able to get of this full mouth smile. It is so fun when they start smiling and giggling. Who knew that a simple smile could entertain grown adults for hours! :)

Those are great photos! Lincoln is such a cute baby! I love the little suit. When Sam was born we really couldn't find a white outfit that would work so we got this super cute "zute" suit. He kind of looked like a little gangster from the 40's. It was gray, maroon, and white stripped with a little vest. Very funny but cute.

Holy cow he IS bigger than the last photos you put on. He looks so cute in his tux. Great pictures. Jill goes in of Friday, we'll see how they compare. We wish we were a little closer, now we'll just be farther. Ok, Jana, don't read that, I know you would take an hour and a half drive any day. Just wait, one day we will be out your way! (it may take until all of our kids are grown, but then we can do double dates alot easier anyway!)

yep, new borns are cute and Lincoln is no exception - of course, every parent thinks their baby is the cutest...

Rick post some photos of the crib! I recently made a toy box for our boys - nothing spectacular, but it looks nice and uses a reclaimed maple kitchen cabinet door for the front panel of the box. Right now i'm building some bunk beds for the boys - i'll have to post some photos when it's done.

yeah, post the photos. These kids are so cute. I don't think I ever had a baby that big until John was born. Big babies make more to squeeze. Thanks for the email Mickenzie. Was fun to hear from you. We can't wait to see him. By August he should weigh (according to my calculations) 30 pounds! Especially if his hunger trend continues! You will have to come down and go to the Mt. Timp temple and leave him with me!! I'll take any of the grandchildren who want to come. We love you-you have such a cute boy. He looks kinda like Mickenzie's side of the fam. ---Barbara

Oh Great! Another Larsen look alike! In that case he will probably throw tantrums, use repetitive questions... Down? out? car? go? candy? eat? truck? Dinosaur? eat? juice? eat? and not to mention mistake animals for each other, as nathan says to the deer, "come back rabbit".
