How much are you loved?

This morning, the kids woke up extra-early because they knew they were getting candy... I made a glorious breakfast - complete with raspberry pancakes, eggs (I rarely make this stuff for breakfast, so they thought it was heaven).
Bruce found this Valentine in his bag from Caleb. Oh, and the two people at the bottom of his note are Bruce and Caleb playing battleship.

I'll translate his note, since my scanning was horrible: "Dear Dad, I love you just as much as I love Mom. Love, Caleb . P.S. I'll never get tired of you

Happy Valentines Day! I love you all! xoxoxo Becky

Caleb, that's an awesome valentine.
Jacob and Sam have been telling us "Happy valentine's day!" for 5 days now, but it hasn't gotten old yet. Becky, your middle name should be "Martha", as in "Stewart".

Hey, what's the deal with that David Brooks family - how come we never see comments and such from them?

So cute! I also love your chandelier decor!

Kathy,

Why does your name always have a ChOcoLate fudge cake by it?

-Just wondering.

Rick,

If you really want to know about the cake: this is my favorite cake to make and eat. So instead of a photo of me, I wanted to show off my beautiful cake. YUMMY!

You know what you guys all sound like? Remember "The Walton's?" and at the end of the episode they would spend 15 minutes telling everyone goodnight? Well, it's like none of you can go to sleep without getting your last word in. I always laugh when I haven't been on the blog for a long time and I read the comments from top to bottom. Funny!
And, you know that your kid is sick when they have a fever, a sore throat, a runny nose and nausea right? Well, let me tell you of the newest symptom! Joseph is sick - fever, ear ache, broken ribs (that's what he said at 1:30 this morning.) But this morning he was crying in the bathroom as I was rushing ever so violently to get ready to go to the doctore so as not to look like the 'homely' homemaker I have been looking like lately (Becky, don't worry, you never look like this - I mean come on, with a table setting like that, you probably looked like a million bucks to go with it! very fun by the way) anyway, he was crying and crying and he finally said, "mom, I feel crooked!" There you have it. You're kid ain't sick until he feels crooked! I had to turn my head and laugh before I tried to console him of his crookedness. Love you all, ReNae

Here I am, about a week late, of course! I'm with ReNae--you are all so funny. Is Joseph feeling better now? Crooked was funny. Great table, Becky! It looks fun. I'm not showing my kids what they missed for breakfast. But we did have a fun dinner. Tonight's the pinewood derby. We'll see how that goes. Justin painted his own car. I love it. Looks just like a kid did it, the way it should be. Gotta go get kids from school in about 10 minutes, which usually takes 1 1/2 hours, so there you have it. Eli will probably nap in the car since he has been up since 4AM--TWO MORNINGS IN A ROW!!!! Why? I have no idea. It's not like he goes to bed that early anyway. Tonight I'm keeping him up until way late thirty or so and maybe he'll sleep until 6AM. He hasn't even been cranky. I don't understand...........
