This was before she was off of the lights. See how bad her eyes are? Very red.
She never really looked that yellow to me.

We finally got to put clothes on her two days ago. It was so fun to dress her up and walk around the house with her. Nobody did anything this day, just held her.

You can still see some of the bruising around her eyes and nose. I think Rick emailed all of you some of the bruised pictures.

This is what the bili-bed looks like. I know Barbara, it is way better than what you had amber in. We did count our blessings for that. It still didn't make it any easier for me - I'm a cry baby! When she finally fell asleep, she actually looked quite comfortable in it. We would lay blankets on top of her to make her feel more cuddled. Anyway, 7 days is just too long to not be able to hold a baby. Again, I know it can be way worse and I thought of Jana ALOT during these days. Jana, you are amazing. I don't know how you did it! I sure look up to you more than ever (not that I didn't before :) )

This was the bili-blanket which wasn't all bad. Except it only lasted for 1 night, then her bili count sky rocketed. Anyway, there you have it. We think she is so fun and can't wait for all of you to see her.

Wow ReNae, you guys have a pretty good recipe going there, she looks so much like Julie! I was so excited to see pictures of Licoln's cousin! I can't wait until they can play together. I am glad that Jill is done with the lights now, I can't imagine having to go through that and for 7 days!?
Mom was telling us the other night about what a struggle it was with Eli the first six months. I am amazed at Jana! I don't think you ever realize what it takes until you've had one of your own. I thank Heavenly Father every day that we have two healthy beautiful babies to add to the Brooks clan!
Jill is a doll! Congratulations!
Yah she does look just like julie! However, mom told me that she looks just like you and I did ReNae! (We were the cutest babies mom had- and well behaved!).
Jill is so cute! Love that greed outfit on her, it makes her look so squeezable and chunky! keep her that way!
Karina
oops... I meant green outfit. Typo!
Baxters, I am SO glad that is over! I had no idea you guys were going through this all over again with the bed of lights. I thought the blanket thing would work and be a short-lived experience. Well, now you can finally enjoy your newborn :)) She is adorable!!
Jana
What a cute little doll - we could just eat up the two new babies. It was truly fun to see both of them at birth, and then again a week later. I can't believe how fast the clan is growing, but we couldn't be prouder. 26 and still counting. Hey Kathy - how ya feelin'? Post something - anything so we can laugh. Mickenzie, Post photos of Lincoln. Becky wants to call him Lingon - for some strange reason.. Mom
Mom.
I do NOT want to call him "Lingon", that was simply the name on the sparkling juice I bought for New Year's. And I was laughing at the spelling, 'cause no one else thought of that spelling. "Lingon berry" flavor. Never heard of it, but it was yummy.
