Happy Halloween!

Well, all I can say is "Think of me, think of me fondly, when you say good-bye." They were pretty stoked to dress up and they even practiced what they would say or sing at each door, however, it really only happened at 2 doors. At home, they practiced the part when Christine walks up to him in his 'lair' and rips off his mask, then the phantom yells "curse you.... @#!* you." When I heard them practicing, I ran into the living room as soon as I heard the curse you part and yelled, don't say the next part. Joseph just said, duh mom. Anyway, it was fun.

Whoa, if only we could all have real hair like this huh?

Thanks to Becky, julie was a witch. She could have cared less about the costume. She was only interested in the pumpkin which held her treats. She kept starring at it all night, from door to door in disbelief that it was really hers and that we were actually letting her eat it at will.
(I don't know which is worse, nathan's 2 cups of coffee - duh you guys! or Julie's 'eat whatever you can get into your mouth in the next 3 hours cuz then it's mine!'

The cakes!! Yes, she's finally two and still doesn't talk. Oh well, that's one less child that can talk sassy to us right? Wrong, you can still be a pill without words! Good thing I could just eat her with a spoon cuz she's so darn funny.

The cake made out of guilt! I try to have the kids' cakes done the night before so that they come upstairs and the first thing they see on their birthday is their cake. They get to gaze over it all day until the presents and cake and stuff at night. Well, Joseph and Jessica came running up stairs on my birthday yelling happy birthday. He went straight to the table, but to his dismay, found nothing! He just said "uugghh - where's the cake!" Isn't that so nice! So, I could only tell him, um, sorry, I'll get right on it and make it for MYSELF! of course, it didn't mind, after all, it is a fun holiday.

Wow, ReNae, you have skills! Way cool ghost and I love Julie's giant punkin cake.

Joseph and Jessica, you are so creative - i wish you would have knocked on my door on Halloween! I would have asked to you sing the whole "music of the night" song, which I'm sure you actually know..."Christiine!!!.... Christiiiine!!!" "Curse you!!...dern you!"

So i guess you're dad probably dressed up as a Wildlife and Range management guy? Just guessin'. Renae, you could probably still pull off the cheer leader costume...Love you guys - Scott

Man, those are the coolest costumes- and so perfect for your young uns. Can't get over Jessica's hair, either. Bruce wanted to know if that was a wig Jessica had on. (No, I think ReNae just dyed her hair for Halloween. She's okay with that kind of thing.) So, you tricked him withou even trying!

You're the cutest witch ever, Julie!!!!!!
