This weekend we took a lovely trip to the monument right outside our window. Wallace monument is about 5 minutes from where we live, and Stirling Castle is over the river (and through the woods haha.) It was SUCH a nice day, we climbed 246 stairs to reach the top. We had a great time.

Well, I was just logging on to show the kids the picture of Jared and the fish he caught, when, ta-dah, new pictures! Sounds fun, guys!

Wow - cool castle thingy. Sounds like fun, and the countryside sure looks beautiful. I also like your post about the small cars - i personnally like the smartcar. A lot of neat engineering has gone into that vehicle.
So... have you seen old nessie yet? you'll have to visit some of the locks, and take photos, and then see if you happen to catch old nessie in the background. Could be worth a fortune to those tabloids! Have you tried any haggis yet? Is David wearing Kilts around the house, yet? Come on, ... live the Scottish experience!
Man, those pictures are amazing! So, I don't know if it is just an illusion or not, but it looks like you could just fall over the edge pretty easily. (Our rigorous standards here wouldn't allow for such violations!)
So keep those pictures coming! We want to see your schools, church, downtown, etc. Oh, and Kathy would like a picture of Haggis for her food blog. Because I bet she's in the mood for that, huh Kathy?!?!?!?
Love Y'all!
Golly, if you miss the blog for a week, you really miss out. What great pictures. Those stairs beat the smith fieldhouse 100 stair trip we used to climb. But they looked safer. Thanks and post more. Yes, Kathy loves food stuff and even if its a bit unsightly. So make Haggis rather than buy it. Try it, since you have sheepies around there. I think it's made with sheep stomachs or something.
