Seth Matthew Brooks!

Check out this beautiful lady - here are the before pics...

And the after pics...

Personally I think it was a walk in the park for Kathy:) - ok, maybe not that easy, but i'm grateful it wasn't worse. It went about as well as we could possibly ask. They started inducing labor around 10:30am, broke her water, and monitored her for 2 hrs. It was starting to get a little painful so she got an epidural around 12:45, and the little guy was totally ready to go 20 mintues later. He was born at 1:14 and slept from 2:30 to 6:30 in our arms - sweet little guy!

He weighed in at about 6lbs and 6 ounces, 19.5 inches, and had quite a lot of wispy blonde hair (well, lots for our family! More than me anyway!)

I think he looks a little like Cameron, but he's only an hour or so old at this point, so it is still hard to tell which features are his and which will smooth out once he's recouperated from all that squeezing...

This kid is TINY - well, at least tiny compared to our 2-yr old Cameron... but really, 6lbs 6oz is pretty small. Here's an almost smile:

I love this last shot!

AH! I am DYING! He is so cute! All of my kids just saw the pictures and their comments were funny too: "I thought they already had a baby," "He looks JUST like Isaac (???)" Kara said, "Four boys just like us!WHere are all the girl babies?"

SO glad he's here, glad you got induced & didn't have to worry about delivering en route to the hospital!

That hair is unbelievable! And even Kathy is smiling after the delivery--that's really impressive! You look pretty in all of your pictures, like it's glamorous to have a baby.

Put more pictures up tomorrow so we can see if he changes at all! Fun day for us!

Awesome!!!! I can't wait until Seth is about 7 or 8 so we can blow stuff up and t.p. our neighbor's houses. And also doorbell ditching. I can imagine our neighbor's response: Get out of here you##@$!
But Seth will be a lot worse than me. I can see it in his picture! The more hair you have, the more trouble you get in!

Haha, good one Jamie :) Everyone KNOWS redheads are the favored ones and ALWAYS get to hold their newborn cousins first. :)
I am sooo excited for you Aunt Kathy! Now you'll get to feed him every three hours, hold him everytime he cries (if he cries), rock him to sleep (cuz that's all babies do), change his diaper all the time, and kiss his little head! (I learned all that in my child development class at school. sounds fun!)
I wish I could hold him. CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!!!!!!!!!

Ooooh! Can I have him? Please? Look at that cute little mouth that needs a kiss right on it! And look at that last picture. Don't you just want to rub your nose in his soft hair and smell the top of his head? What a cutie! You did great, guys! All my congratulations on another job well done! Yes, keep posting pictures. Babies change so quickly.

Congratulations to you Kathy and Scott and all those other little sweet boys celebrating the birth of little Seth. I can't believe you, Kathy, now have your fourth baby...I remember so well the birth of my fourth baby..the sweetest little girl, with blond hair and a bright smile that I still see in these pictures today. We named here Kathryn Marie Wilberg (Marie was in remembrance of Mary- mother of Jesus- she was born at christmas time). We have loved having her in our family...You are such a great mom Kathy--this new baby has come to an amazing new home. Welcome Seth we love you and your lovely blond hair. Love, Grandma Wilberg
