Whoa- blurry picture. (The poor camera had tears in her eyes too.)
That's because it was Father's blessing- time for going back to school.
First Day of School, Eric is too busy thinking to look at Bruce for a picture. And his friend is "waiting. Hurry."
Caleb goes to second grade.
Kara. I keep wondering where she gets certain antics. Did you guys all hear that 15 minutes before school started ON THE FIRST DAY, she vomited all over her clothes, hair, kitchen floor, & counter? (Karina, my estimate was about 650 cc's of non-bilious emesis.)
She claimed she wanted to go to school still. (Shhhh. she doesn't know that if you puke, normal moms usually let you stay home and watch TV.) So I re-bathed, combed, dressed, & brushed her teeth and had her in her chair before the late bell rang. Mmm! Where's my professional mother award?
Look, I know she had nothing left to throw up, and she wasn't febrile. And who wants to miss the first day?
Furthermore, even Barbara sent one of her girls to school (with a fever ) on the first day, so she wouldn't miss all the rules n stuff. So. There's your mouth of two (or more) witnesses to the truth. Send your kid to school on the first day no matter what.
Look who is lost, bereft, forlorn, and without purpose now that the siblings are gone?
Arliss says "Aww Mama, there aint nothin to do out there in that ol back yard!"

Looks like single-strap over-the-shoulder bags are "in" this year!
Well, my favorite picture here is Nathan. He does look bereft as you say - but so cute too. And I love the first day of school pictures - thanks for putting them on the blog. Mom
Very cute photos, Becky and Bruce. Love it!
