career enhancement?

Got to fire an experimental machine gun at work today - check it out at:
Knight Armament Co.
There's only 10 of these in existence and my company has 2 of them for test purposes. Weighs only 4.5 lbs, and has a very short 8" or 10" barrel [it is designed for CQB (close-quarter-battle) engagements]. It fires a 6x35 mm caliber round that outperforms the M4 carbine (5.56x45mm) in terms of muzzle velocity and has very little kick. Course, I only got to shoot through 1 magazine.

That is so cool. I wonder if it is the one I saw on Discovery channel that you can bury in sand, leave it in water, etc., then just remove, point the barrel down and shoot it. Plus, it does not get hot when fired? Can you get me one for xmas? You have all the fun. If Jared throws up a clay pigeon, can you hit it? Dad

I dunno. I'm guessing that what you saw on the discovery channel was the AK-47 (first designed in the 40's by a Russian named Mikhail Kalashnikov - Kalashnikov and AK-47 are used interchangeably and refer to the same weapon). that's the one you see in photographs being carried by kids in Sudan, Iraq, and other unstable regions. Very reliable.

Wow Scott! I can't believe you shot that pup. I thought it was much bigger until I saw one of the pictures with the man aiming & holding it. You sure have amazing guns. (I'm SURE Kathy tells you that all day anyway. . . )

Man that Paul Potts guy is awesome! Can't wait to download a couple-a songs. Kathy, being in the know like she is, should be posting more amazing stuff like that all the time. Does Sam know how to say "blog" yet????

Scott, that's a bunch of "big talk", you know. Are you really that smart? Or did you have to look at a book to spell everything correctly? j/k. You are amazing! And so is that gun, which I really don't care too much about, but I have to admit that one was pretty cool! Now I'm going to try that site Kathy recommended.
