Yeah Dallin - Way to go! Woohoo - Yipee- etc etc. And congrats to David for finally finally finally finally getting on. WE love it. Now we get to bite our fingers again all over again watching grandsons wrestle. Mom
Atta kid Dallin. I think it took uncle rick until his junior year of high school to get his first pin! he could never make it through a match on-a-count of his always eating soap. DOn't let 'em put their fingers where they don't belong.
Congrats Dallin! That's awesome! I didn't even know that you were getting into wrestling. Pretty soon you'll have all kinds of safety pins to put on your coat, kinda like your uncles Rick and Jared. You know, those two (or your Dad) could teach you a couple of wrestling "cheers" that you could think about while you're out there on the mat...
"What-cha doing under there - Get up, Get outta there!" (That's what they say when you're on the bottom. Uncle Jared heard that one a lot.)
"We are proud of you, say we are proud of you, Hey hey hey!" (that's the cheer you get if you lose the match. I heard that one once.)
"Roll him over...lay him flat...pin his shoulders..to the mat. Roll him over, lay him flat, pin his shoulders too the mat!" (repeat it about infinity times)
Oh my goodness! The church is true! 'bout time David. Anyway, Congratulation to Dallin. That is so cool. I personally hated to watch those matches. Probably because I'm a girl and hated to watch my bro's in pain. None the less, we are excited that you won. Keep up the hard work! Bring on the carrot juice.
Carrot juice...Yummmmmm
You guys make me laugh! Those cheers were exactly right, too, Scott. Well, you are all so funny! Dallin, do you wrestle at a particular weight for your grade? I remember wrestlers spitting in cups to try and make their weight and that was always gross to me, among other weird things they did. Hopefully, it isn't so tight in elementary years. Great job! You are SO strong! I bet there's a lot of wrestling going on on your living room floor as your dad teaches you what he knows. Bye!!! Welcome, guys, to this blog...Jana
Scott you forgot one cheer... A-like so... "Twist em' like a pretzel, show em how to restle, pin um, pin um" and... "Go dallin Go Dallin Go... FIght Dallin Fight Dallin Fight... Win Dallin Win Dallin Win... Go... FIght... Win..."!!
Boy I remember those days of wrestling too, but everybody kept getting 4th in state so it wasn't too fun anymore! But Sure did like that carrot too!!! Dad you should make some for the next family reunion!!
She who didn't wrestle
