Yes, we have a winner folks!!

Ok, since a few of you have guessed, the closest one to it is... da-dada-da (use voice affect) Yes, it's Jana! She guessed gluten/wheat. And wheat it is. There was this foul smell coming from the bosch for about a month and finally I couldn't take it any longer, so we took the thing apart and this was the lovely jewel we found. So, it's basically been collecting in there since I've had the thing - 7 years!!! So, all that good wheat bread has been churning around this! Yuk!! I'm sure all you girls have smelled the same smell. Anyway, congratulations Jana, You are the proud winner of..... wouldn't you all like to know? It's a surprise. love you - #4

Alright, alright, we're alive over here. I thought that's what it was. you see, we had the same thing in our bosch mixer. Except it was wound around the long metal thing that keeps mixer intact. That's gross, you should post that on google. Like "The world's most putrid dough."
*for anyone who hasn't read Ruby Holler, you need too!*

Well, blow me down and stomp! Sheesh, I thought you were a better dishwasher than that. But, to be totally honest, I've found that dough down in that center post is easily the hardest thing to clean out. Now I do it every time I bake bread, so it won't get like yours, and it only was 1/100th of what you had. I can't believe it was that much. Mom

But, hey, I'll still eat your bread and drink your matte!
I know you are clean at heart :) :)

ReNae, you mean you have never cleaned that out in 7 years! You always soak the entire thing in hot water, with some clorox. Did you throw the stuff away? I mean you said it was edible? Put it in your next batch of bread! I bet you could really have some prize winning risers that poof up. Old starters make the best stuff!

ReNae, I used my Bosch this morning to make cookies and thought of all that gunk....glad yours is gone! The newer models come with a removable shaft that makes it very easy to clean. So, someday you can look forward to that. Here's a note from Eli, who has been pulling on my arm and asking to see a tractor picture. Would someone please humor him with more exciting pictures???? hiol.yi\xxxn''''''''''''''''''''''''2222`mddcxzzzddeeel;;;;;;;;;;; Love, Eli and Jana
