Mac & Trooper
They’re gone! No one knows where.
Whatever has happened, wherever they are,
Disappeared as if into thin air.
We will miss them so much, they’re part of our hearts.
No more welcome, no more singing,
No more pickup rides to the dump.
No more excitement when Dad puts on his hat.
No more drinks from the dish at the pump.
No sweet pictures with the grandkids to share,
No red leash pulling us instead,
No running wild in the house anymore,
No finding someone snuck into our bed.
It’s so incredible that a little ol’ dog,
Grows and is part of the plan
Intended for us to love and enjoy,
Bur we wanted it to last --our whole lifespan.
For those of you who do not know, they disappeared on Tuesday morning and we have looked for them for 3 days and posted a missing poster at the postoffice, called the pound and animal control, let everyone know and everyone has been looking for us. But they disappeared within the 1st hour they were gone - so we suspect foul play. If not that, they have met with a disaster and are no longer living. It's very strange, very sad, and we're so sorry.

Geez, I didn't realize how sad I would actually be. But, man that really breaks a person's heart. Ok, I take back what I said about the "Katrina" victims and the rampage to save the animals. We really did love them after all! Well, Maybe they'll be like the "eight below" dogs and in 170 days, you'll find them!! Really, I'm not making light of the sitchiation as Rick Brooks says, I love those dogs:(
You mean I have to rename the blog now? Come on mac and trooper! come home so our blog name still makes sense!
That's too bad Dad and Mom... Jacob sure loved playing with them!
