Crepe Cake

Hi all,

So I made this crazy chocolate crepe cake. You'll have to see it. If you click here it'll take you to my family's blog with pictures of it. It had chocolate crepes then the filling was a very rich cream of a bunch of different things, the flavoring was almond, then the whole cake had a chocolate gaunche on top. Sooooo good! But very time consuming.

It took a couple of days but that's just because I didn't want to do it all in one day. You've got to let the cake cool so the cream stuff doesn't ooze out everwhere. Plus, the cream does call for 3 1/2 cubes of butter! So that firms up real nice in the fridge. It was yummy, though! Anything with that gaunche stuff is so delicious.
