Yes we are alive and we do still like you all. As a matter of fact we love you to death! We have been a little out of the loop because after 2 years Rick still forgets that he has a wife that might like to know about the family blog! :) So now that I'm in the loop, let me update you all. Rick just had the biggest test of his life this Saturday, and although he claims he forgot everything he ever knew, I know that he did great! I hope that he doesn't ever have to take a test like that again however, because the entire time at church the next day he was complaining about how sore his neck was and made me massage it throughout the entire sacrament. (And believe me, with two High Counselmen on the same day, it was a task.) I told him if his head is heavy enough to get his neck that sore he must have something up there.
Now that Rick is getting close to graduating he has found a job at a Land Development Company called Wood Patel. He starts on May 22, so he has time to make us some sweet furniture after school ends.
I am having fun with my calling working with the Young Women. I am YW 2nd Counselor, so I get to work with the Beehives. They are a fun group but hard to pull ideas out of, so if any of you experienced YW leaders or current YW have any good ideas for activities, please shoot them my way!
We have repented and will be frequenting this blog, so can't wait to talk next! We love you!

Yeah Money! You have a job. A real job. That's better than Dad you know. He is out of a job. ReNae, I think your email about Joseph was the funniest thing I ever read. Well, almost. You rock at writing.
Hey mom, Your gonna have to get your kids straight! That was posted by Rick and Mickenzie, not rick and renae, but oh well! Hey Mickenzie! Congrats on Rick and his new job. That's always a big stress relief eh? Hey, I'm the Beehive advisor as well and I hear you on trying to get those girls to squeeze out some ideas. I love it too and we have done some fun things. I'll have to talk to you about it later. Hope to see you guys this summer! It's gonna be so fun!
Rick, I am sure you did just fine on that EIT exam (or whatever one it was). You're a bright guy, and i know you studied hard whenever your calling would allow. Plus you took state in just about everything (FFA, FBLA, wrestling, band, academic decathalon, student government, seminary, chess, etc), so that probably helped a little too.
Congrats on landing the job too. Sounds great. Did you tell them that if they hired you, all their wildest dreams would come true?
Sorry Mickenzie, I just read the Rick part and thought it was Baxter. So, again, congrats on the new job, and the empty brain. Cant wait to see ya'll. Love you both.
Man, I hate taking those types of tests! MCAT, GMAT, SAT's, ACT's! It's all c-rap (crap), I say! I am NOT a test taker.
Good luck with everything!
It will be so nice you guys in July!
Rick, I'll give you did a big woop-dee-doo! Congrats on passing! (wait, kenzie only said you took the hardest test... so we will still need details). I knew you had some of the Larsen genes in you, or at least confuses says, "he who fart in chruch sit in pew". Anyhoo, I love you "too musha" and can't wait to see you guys this summer!
