Welcome to our very own "Blog" (short for Web Log)

Hi everyone...
After clicking on the link in your email invitation, set up an account (username, password, profile, etc) so you can contribute to the blog. What you do next is not very intuitive so here's a basic explanation of what to do after you accept your invitation and set up your account.

Once you've set up your account, you'll be looking at what is called the "Dashboard". This is the tool you use to create new postings on the Blog. If you click either the green plus sign or the blue "Brooks Family Forum" link, you are taken to another page that lets you post to the blog (on the posting tab), or view the webpage containing the actual blog (via the "View Blog" tab), which is www.9kids2dogs.blogspot.com. By the way, I recommend you make that webpage (the one you're reading now) as one of your "Favorites" at the top of your browser, then you can quickly go to it once in a while and see if anyone has added a new posting or comment.

If you are viewing the blog and want to comment on something someone else wrote, just click on the comments link underneath the post you want to reply to. If you want to post a new posting to the blog, you have to go back to the dashboard (you can get their by clicking the orange and white "Blogger" logo in the top left corner of the blog).

Enjoy! I thought it would be useful to set up a place where all us Brooks' can post messages, chat, reply, etc and keep it all organized on one place. You can post photos too.
